My first degree was a mathematics/physics double major, and I had always found the prolific output of Leonard Euler awe inspiring. After completing my gaddi torso study, I thought the painting of Euler with a silk hat would be a great reference to take on as it would have me practice both portraiture and drapery.
I will always want a copy this for myself, and I might have to earmark a copy for my Mum!
